From chaos to clarity

When the spiritual door opens, it can feel like being caught in a storm. As we noted in the text on "When inner expansion becomes overload", sustainable awakening is not about escaping reality, but about being able to bear it.

If you feel that the intensity is becoming too high, here are some concrete ways to help your nervous system catch up with your soul.

1. Pause your spiritual tools

It might sound contradictory, but if you feel ungrounded, it's time to put away the crystals, deep meditations, and theories about other dimensions.

Why?

These activities further expand consciousness. If your "system" is already overloaded, you don't need more expansion; you need contraction and focus on the physical.

2. Focus on "the ordinary"

The most "spiritual" thing you can do when you're close to a collapse is to be extremely human.

It's about doing practical things: Cleaning, cooking, gardening, or washing the car. Using your hands to interact with physical matter forces your consciousness back into your body.

Try routines such as: Eating and sleeping at fixed times. Routines are the nervous system's best friend when everything else feels fluid.

3. The body as an anchor

If you've "drifted away" too often, too early, or too powerfully, you need to regain your footing:

  • Weight: Use a weighted blanket or wear heavy clothing.
  • Temperature: An ice-cold shower or holding an ice cube can quickly break a spiral of unreality by forcing the nervous system to focus on a direct physical sensation.
  • Food: Eat "heavy" food. Root vegetables, protein, and warm meals help ground energy more than light salads or juices.

4. Seek human connection (outside the spiritual "bubble" ♥️ )

Talk to someone who isn't interested in spirituality. A friend who talks about the weather, sports, or everyday problems can be exactly the anchor you need to remind you that this world is also real and important.

5. Get to know your nervous system

Learn the difference between spiritual euphoria and an overstimulated nervous system (sympathetic arousal).
If you're trembling, have trouble sitting still, speak incoherently, or have difficulty sleeping, these are signs of dysregulation, not necessarily high vibration.

Exercise: If you feel like it, try the "5-4-3-2-1 method". Name 5 things you see, 4 you can touch, 3 you hear, 2 you can smell, and 1 you can taste.

6. Reconnect with the earthly

You can ground yourself through what is simple, concrete, and alive:

  • Water: Shower, bathe, or wash your hands mindfully.
  • Barefoot: Walk barefoot on grass, soil, or sand.
  • Nature: Sit against a tree, feel the wind, listen to the sounds around you.
  • Breath: Bring your attention back to your breathing. Slow, deep breaths that you don't force, but simply observe and allow to come naturally, signal safety to the nervous system. → If you feel agitated, don't start by trying to change your breathing. Just notice how you are breathing right now. Feel where in your body the breath moves. After a while, your breathing will usually start to slow down on its own, without you needing to control it.

It's not about doing anything advanced – but about reconnecting with what has always supported us.

♥️ Please remember ♥️

An awakening is a marathon, not a sprint. If your body, your emotions, your mental state, and your soul cannot keep up, the experience risks turning into a crisis. By prioritizing your health and your connection to the earth, you build the container needed for your spiritual insights to become a gift instead of a burden.

Take care of yourself, dear one!
